When it comes to sensitive information such as Credit Cards, email addresses and other personal information, we make every available attempt to assure the safest and most secure environment so that you can feel comfortable using the OldRide system. OldRide abides by the PCI requirements for transferring, handling and storage of credit card information.

Credit Card numbers are required at certain points in the OldRide system, such as submitting an ad into the system or registering for a subscription with OldRide. When it comes to Credit Card information OldRide elects to use these key features to assure safety and confidence. OldRide.com uses secure servers to transmit all online credit card transactions in an encrypted format. Verify you are submitting information over a secure server by locating https:// in your browser's web address bar. Credit card information is stored on a trusted secure off-site server.

• Our servers use the highest levels of SSL encryption to communicate with Banking or Merchant Processing Servers. When your Credit Card is submitted for ad submissions or Merchant Account sign-up, your sensitive information is being sent across a secure 256 bit SSL connection. This is evident by two factors, first is the URL beginning with HTTPS and not HTTP. The second is our web address in the trusted green browser bar.


• OldRide will not ever store Credit Card information on our servers. This is against company and Banking Policies. Your Credit Card information is used once then discarded, unless you elect to store your credit card for future use or to become a verified member or merchant. If you are currently a Merchant or are considering becoming a new Merchant, or if you would like to store your credit card in your account with OldRide, your Credit Card information will be safely stored at our secure Merchant Gateway, to be used for re-occurring billing purposes of your account.

• If you are purchasing items from OldRide or advertising on the site, you will be required to enter your personal information including name, email address, mailing address, shipping address, phone number, etc. This allows us to process your transaction and to notify you of your purchase status. Your information is transmitted through our secure servers and will never be shared or sold to any third parties except as otherwise provided in this Privacy Policy.


• You agree to pay all charges incurred by you or any users on your account and credit card or other applicable payment mechanism at the prices in effect when such charges are incurred. You will also be responsible for paying any applicable taxes relating to your purchases. Verification of information related to a purchase may be required prior to our acceptance of any order
